Important Update! Details of new League venue!

Today I have received confirmation from the Inch Park Community Sports Club (IPCSC) that we are welcome to begin League sessions at the club beginning this Sunday. This is excellent for Edinburgh Pokémon League, as it allows us a less hectic space in which to have our sessions, and a venue much more appropriate to tournament play. The League will continue to be free to all members during regular League sessions thanks to the generous people at the IPCSC, and there is a canteen that will also be available for our use.

The IPCSC is a short distance from Cameron Toll Shopping Centre, at 227 Gilmerton Road, Edinburgh, EH16 5UD. Their webpage provides directions, and I've made this handy map with a route from our former location at the Cameron Toll Food Court to the IPCSC.

There is also space for parking at the club, although those spaces may be limited depending on what other events the club is hosting on that day.

I'll be sure to clearly signpost from the IPCSC entrance, and if you know any League Members that might not know about the change of venue, please pass this information along to them. I very much look forward to seeing you all at our new location this Sunday!

Mark McQuillan takes second place at VGC Nationals

This post is MEGA late- but for those who haven't heard, Edinburgh League's best Video Game player Mark McQuillan competed at the Pokémon VGC Nationals in Essen, Germany two weeks ago and I'm psyched to report took 2ND PLACE, qualifying for a spot at the VGC World championships in Hawaii!

Congratulations to Mark, Edinburgh Pokémon League is super proud of you! We look forward to cheering you on at Worlds this summer :)

As Mark himself would likely say...
